We live and work in the same community you do. Our advice is rooted in understanding your local hospitals, doctors, and how you prefer to access care.
Choosing a Medicare plan isn’t just about cost—it’s about what works with your local providers. We help you:
This insight doesn’t come from a call center—it comes from real people who know your area. That’s the Majeske difference.
Medicare is federal health insurance for:
Part A: Inpatient hospital, skilled nursing, hospice, some home health
Part B: Doctor visits, outpatient services, preventive care, equipment
Part C (Advantage): Bundled A & B, often includes vision, dental, and drugs
Part D: Prescription drug coverage
You can also add a Medigap plan to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Not sure where you fall? Our team can guide you through.
Medigap helps cover expenses that Medicare Parts A & B do not, such as:
Note: Medigap does not include prescription coverage—you’ll need a separate Part D plan.
A: If you’re receiving Social Security or RRB benefits, yes. Otherwise, you must enroll manually via SSA. Start 3 months before your 65th birthday.
A: During your 6-month Medigap Open Enrollment, starting when you’re 65+ and enrolled in Part B. No underwriting required during this period.
A: Original Medicare leaves gaps: 20% coinsurance, deductibles, no drug, dental, or vision coverage. Medigap or Medicare Advantage helps fill those gaps.
A: Part C bundles Parts A & B (and often D). Includes extras like dental or fitness. You qualify if enrolled in A & B and live in the service area.
A: Advantage replaces Medicare, adds benefits, uses provider networks. Medigap supplements Original Medicare, adds flexibility but no extra benefits.
A: IEP, GEP, AEP, Advantage OEP, or SEP—based on life events. Start planning 3–6 months before turning 65.
A: Maybe not. If your employer plan is credible, you can delay Part B. Once it ends, a SEP allows enrollment without penalties.
A: It excludes long-term care, dental, vision, hearing, most overseas care, and drugs (without Part D). Add Advantage or Medigap + Part D to fill gaps.
A: You may face penalties, delays, or limited Medigap access. Plan ahead to avoid these issues.
